Barber Family — Easter 2010

My name is Patrick Barber, and I serve as the Preaching Minister at the East Point Church of Christ in Wichita, Kansas.

I’ve uploaded some of the sermons, articles, and class materials I’ve written over the last few years.  They may be helpful or useful to someone who happens to find this little blog.  We never know how God might use us.

If you do find something helpful here, feel free to use it and pass it on, but please note where you found it.  Don’t steal it, publish it under your name, or sell it.  These items are, like the church, a service rather than a business.

Grace and peace,

Feel free to contact me via phone or email.

  1. Hi Pat, This is a great website/blog. Very impressive. I look forward to talk with you soon. The Picayune website is…. http://www.pbwiki.com

Patrick! This is a great resource! I’m so glad you’re pulling this together. I’m glad you’re at West Side.

Thanks, Lisa. I’m pretty new to webpages and blogging, and I don’t expect for this to be a regular blog, but you never know how God might use us. Thanks for leaving a comment!

  3. Sorry I was unable to visit with you last Friday, but the student I was introducing to Harding….is so excited about his visit…..I am sure we will be back and have time to visit with you in the future. Also had a great visit with Randy.

  4. Did you see where Mike Cope is leaving the pulpit to develop a social networking capability for the church……

I wasn’t aware of exactly what he was planning to do, but I had heard that he left his previous preaching ministry. It will be interesting to see what develops. Also, I understand about having a busy weekend. We had one, too! Glad to hear you and Randy had a good visit, though. By the way, I was talking to J.C. and Winifred Franks (they’re members at West Side), and they said that they’ve met you before. I think J.C. has a sister who’s been a long-time member at Picayune. Anyway, small world….

  5. Yes, Erma Franks Hansen is one of the founding members of our congregation. Tell J.C. and Winifred I said hello.

  6. Andrew says:

    Mr. Barber,
I am working on a project for a contest about underage drinking. The picture that you used for that article would be very useful in the production of our project. I was wondering if we couldget permission to use it?
